Olympic Word

I changed what I had previously had for my storyboard. I made each letter race in this version. The animation still needs to be cleaned severely. I still need to make them vie for the lead and stop them from sliding.

1 :) I really like how you suggest the starting line at the beginning with the row of letters/numbers. I really get a sense of where they are and what they're doing.

1 :( However, I don't necessarily like the way they scroll in from the left. Maybe just make them start in position from the beginning of the video?

2 :) When the letters/numbers begin their race, you establish the number as a bit of an underdog and make you want to root for it, such that there's a payoff at the end when it wins.

2 :( I'd like to see you emphasize more that the numbers are crossing the finish line at the end. Maybe some finish line tape or something?

3 :) But I like how you have them speeding up at the end to give the impression they're all making 1 last push towards the finish line.

3 :( I don't know how you could really do it any different, since you only have the single letters to work with, but it looks more like they're hopping a sack race more than running.

Positive
1.) I like how the letters are lined up ready to race.

2.) The idea of having them finish up in the order of spelling out 100m Dash is cool. It can be pushed a bit more though.

3.) Although I do like the numbers being the underdog, I missed it on the first...run. Maybe if the camera pans with them the entire time with the letters in the lead the whole way, numbers going off frame, it would show that more.

Negative
1.) I think the amount of time it takes from when the racing letters
go off screen to the 3rd part takes a little too long. You could cut it down and use this time elsewhere.

2.) When the camera pans to show the letters are lined up, this would be a little better if there was a little slower pan.

3.) You could add a third positioning at the beginning. Right it looks like they stand, and then bend to jump instead of getting ready to run.
